Coding isn't programming

Imagine that you want to write a book in German.

But you don’t speak German!

You would:
→ Learn alphabet
→ Learn grammar
→ Learn how to write simple sentences

Only then would you:
→ Start putting sentences together into a story (= book)

Not everyone who speaks German can write a book in German

The same goes for Salesforce Development

It’s two things:

  1. Learn how to code

  2. Learn how to program

The first part is about learning the fundamentals
→ Variables, classes, methods
→ Loops, Maps, Lists

Once you know how “speak” Apex, you can start applying your coding skills on solving business problems.

That’s programming.

→ Coding = being able to write code
→ Programming = solving business problems with coding

If you try to jump to programming (triggers for example) - you will fail

You will feel like you can write code if you have a similar example
But you can’t write code from scratch that you don’t have an example for

The solution is easy:
→ Learn coding

Then you’ll move faster because you have fundamentals

That’s why I developed Learn Apex

It’s a platform that teaches you very fundamental coding concepts

But that’s not all, we also have:
→ 80+ topics
→ 10+ hours of video material
→ 450+ tasks
→ Immediate coding check
→ Best practice recommendations

Reply “APEX” and I will send more details :)
