I don't have time

Yesterday, I had a call with a possible client for 1:1 mentoring

She said “I don’t have time to learn Salesforce Development

Here is what I recommended to her:

1. Realize it’s not about the time

→ Everyone has the same amount of hours.
→ But some people learn coding, some don’t.

Why? Because they prioritize coding over Netflix.

If you can find 10 minutes per day
→ You have enough time

Setting priority > Finding time

2. Surround yourself with the right people

We have this image of a developer sitting in the basement

Reality though:
→ Learning coding alone is hell

We are still the same social beings as 1000 years ago

Let’s not run from it

3. Ten minutes > Ten Hours

Don’t set unrealistic study goals

→ You are probably working your full-time job
→ It’s hard to study many hours a day after
→ Focus on 10 minutes per day instead

It will compound over time

4. Gamify process

Record:
→ Tasks sovled
→ Hours in learning
→ Projects implemented

No tracking = No progress

5. Take a break

Hey, I know how you want to achieve everything faster
(me too)

But it’s a marathon

And we study to get our freedom
→ Not to be slaves to learning
→ It should be fun, not a burden

Take a break → Skip a day → Spend time with the loved one ❤️

And you will win!

P.S. On Thursday we’ll host our weekly training in “Force Developer” community.

We will create an end-to-end with LWC and Integration in 60 minutes.

I want to invite you there for the price of one movie ticket ($17)

You will learn how to write a simple integration and combine it with LWC.

Date: Thursday, May 23rd
Time: 9 AM EST / 3 PM CEST.

Are you in? :)
