“Hey, can you help me with this?”

How I communicated as a Junior Salesforce Developer:

🚫 “Hey, can you help me with this?”

Instead, how I should have communicated:

✅ “Hey, can you help me with this? I have tried ____, but it doesn’t work on ____ line”

✅ “Hey, can you help me with this? I don’t know how to solve problem ____. I see solution ____ and ____, but none of them seem to fit our situation with ____”

✅ “Hey, can you approve that I move in the right direction with ___? My solution is ____.”

It’s all about
→ Being specific
→ Being proactive
→ Not adding too many details
→ Show that you’ve done your research

Make it easier for your mentor to respond

And you will get more replies and more time

When I made this change in communication
→ My reply rate from my senior mentor doubled

Make it easy. Be proactive.

Coding opens doors.

Communication is what moves you in your career.

P.S. That’s what I will be teaching inside of my paid community

We are currently in beta

A community is as strong as its members, so I will be very selective about who I let in.

The first founding members are mostly my 1:1 clients

And we already have the first group working together that will start working on their first project

So I will focus on finding the most engaged 25 people

And then double the price to $47 / month

What do you need to qualify?

  1. Do you already have some Apex or coding skills?

  2. Do you have solid Salesforce experience?

  3. Do you have at least 5 hours/week to dedicate to learning Salesforce Development?

So this is what you do next.

Send me a message with the answers to the above questions and we’ll jump on a 15-minute call to settle it all.

Let’s get together and code.
