Salesforce For Everyone

Salesforce for Everyone is the most downloaded podcast in the Salesforce ecosystem. No wonder! Most other podcasts are either inactive, have low quality, or are just too polished because they are produced by Salesforce itself.

I am a podcast junky and I was always searching for something career-related that I can listen to on the way to work. Let’s how the landscape of Salesforce Development looks like.

Top 3 podcasts

1. Good Day, Sir! Show, a Salesforce Podcast

   • By far, this is the best podcast for developers. It’s engaging, the hosts are experienced, and the quality is top-notch. For those who want to become developers - you can listen and learn a ton about Development. (Link)

2. Salesforce Developer Podcast

   • Another SF Developer podcast, but from Salesforce itself. And this is definitely one of the best dev podcasts out there. But, as with most Salesforce stuff, is a bit too polished for me. (Link)

3. SalesforceWay

   • Xi Xiao interviews experienced people to all topics around Salesforce. There is a new episode released, the first one since October 2022! But if it’s not enough, you have 97 episodes more to catch up! (Link)

Analyzing podcasts

We have identified a total of 34 podcasts. The "General" category is the most common, followed by "Development".

However, it appears that developers abandon their podcasts more frequently. When we only consider those podcasts that are currently active, "Development" drops to third place!

Obviously, we are somewhat biased. As a company that teaches Senior Admins, Consultants, and Architects how to become a Salesforce Developer - we lean much more toward developer-related podcasts. That's why the biggest amount of recommended podcasts was around Development.
